Tofu is great eating!

It's best when you cook it.

I like meat, I like fish, I like fruit & vegetables but not junk that looks like lard.

It doesn't look like that when it's cooked.

Tofu is good when you use it in recipes, as it takes on the flavour with anything you add it to.
Eaten plain was never the intention.

I'm not real crazy about tofu. There's one recipe that I use it in, and even then I have a hard time finding tofu that I like in it. Even the extra firm is often too soft and mushy (which just grosses me out). But, the recipe just wouldn't work with meat, so tofu is actually best for it. I'm just picky about the tofu I use.

I've tried to cook it other ways, and use it in other recipes and I just can't get past the lack of flavor and crappy texture.

Never could acquire a taste for the stuff myself. Would much prefer meat instead of this as a substitute.
