This doesn't really excuse this garbage much, and it is garbage, but:

1. It's a video game, probably a sh-tty flash game or something along those lines too. But it is just a video game, they aren't the cause of shootings.

2. I remember a long time ago, there was this site called Newgrounds, and it had a series of games under the category of Assassin. Basically it was a bunch of crappy flash games where the goal was to kill various celebrites and movie and cartoon characters. There was a PC game called JFK Reloaded. You played as Lee Harvey Oswald and the goal was to re-enact the John F. Kennedy assassination as accurately as possible.

This really isn't a new thing. And like the NRA game, it's nothing worth rustling the jimmies.

So what? I still have "Super Columbine Massacre RPG" downloaded on my computer. As wally said, it is probably some game made on Newgrounds or posted by a troll on his website.

Hell even clicking on the link and looking at the game, it feels similar to that JFK game that came out a few years back. Its not that big a deal.

I can't imagine that it is legal to have a game that re-enacts killing a living human being, public figure or not.

It has to violate some kind of threatening utterances or harassment law.

Why? We have movies that do constantly. Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers re-enacted the deaths of hundreds of American, Canadian, and British soldiers throughout World War 2 (often times by name, or re-enacted a specific soldier's death).

The game is not harassing or directly threatening.

My favorite part though is the amount of outrage and stupidity stemming from the media and bloggers over this, some are already calling this game "leftist".



I think this game was made partly to get a reaction, and boy did it ever lololol. For more fun, read the first post on the thread, or even just read the name of the thread, and then imagine if any of the blowhards screaming about this tried to do any additional research. Like the first three pages before the sensationalism sniffers found the game.
